My little daughter brought this adorable kitty home from pre-school and I snapped a picture to keep in my archives to do next year...such a cute, easy idea!

Pinterest inspired crafts...

I am LOVING pinterest!  It is so fun to be able to remember where I put the ideas I am inspired by all over the blogosphere.  It has helped me actually do quite a few more crafts this year!  I made the cute little candy corn trees in the pictures and the little candies in the basket!  Love them both so much!!

Card club...

Here is the latest card club card I created.  We handed out paint chips and blue was my color...I think I got the blue theme down :).

The stamps are CTMH and the paper is patterned paper from Bazzill Basics.

Scraps--Thanks...

I have lots to be thankful for recently.  I had foot surgery on my left foot 3 weeks ago and have had people take my kids, bring in meals and send me loving messages!  A few of the days I was laid up I decided to get my scrap box out and make a few thank you cards, it was fun to see what I could do with a scrap of paper, a few embellishments, stamps and ink. Most of my things stayed downstairs, just a few select made it up to my "bed", but it sure was fun to see what I could do with them!  I think they turned out cute...now to write in them :)!!

Announcing...

I cannot believe how fast the time has gone since I had my baby.  I am just now finishing up his birth announcements, but better late than never I suppose!  I LOVE how they turned out.  I had to do 2 color schemes since I ran out of the brown/red/blue combo and didn't want to go into the store again.  I like them both quite a bit though!
I used the Cuttin Up cartridge for the BOY and welded it together using my gypsy.  I also cut out the circle part of the O with my gypsy too and 'hid' the contour of the rest of the O.  The Sweet Baby stamps are from Scrappy Moms Stamp. The background paper on the red/brown/blue one is from CTMH.  The other paper is just from my stash!  Hope you like them!

Card Club Fun...

Here is the card I made for my monthly card club.  Our "theme" this month was masculine birthday.

The Time 4 Fun is off of the Cuttin UP cartridge cut at 3" with the shadow feature.  I used the circle embossing folder with my cuttlebug and a DCWV paperpack.

You are my sunshine...

We are loving that the sunshine came out...we were beginning to wonder if we would have a summer here in Idaho, or just a spring.

This card was done for my monthly card club...the theme was to use yellow and orange.

The sun is cut from Create a Critter and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamp set Amusing Animals.

I hope you are having a sunshinny day!!

Sing, sing a song....

Sing out loud, sing ALONG!!!
My little girls LOVE to sing.  So for an activity to do on our long summer days, I made up some cue cards for all the different songs we like to sing.  It is a work in progress as I think of new songs often, but its a good start!

A few examples from the picture above include...
5 little monkies
Bringing home a baby bumble bee
The wheels on the bus
5 little speckled frogs
How much is that doggy?

Thanks for stopping by!!

Celebrate the Occasion #18...

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #18 is up and it was a great one--4th of July *red, white and blue*!!

Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!  I cannot wait to see what you create!
Who doesn't like the 4th of July?  It means summer is finally here (at least where I live), we celebrate our awesome country, you get to see fireworks, and eat yummy food!  My house seems to be pretty empty once all the Easter decorations come down so I figured it needed some fun 4th of July decorations!!

This is just a 2x6 board cut to 12".  The striped paper is CTMH and the freedom words are cut from Opposites Attract cartridge and the stamped words are from CTMH stamp sets.  The firecracker was bought from the dollar store quite awhile ago.

Thanks for Celebrating the Occasion with us!

I am also entering this into the following challenges...

Want to see??

What I have been doing lately?

This adorable little guy was born on June 1st and would explain the lack of creating on my part...I am creating a nice growing family right now :).  I have gotten down to the craft room a few times and will post a few of those creations soon...as soon as they are finished!  Thanks for sticking around!!

Celebrating the Occasion Challenge #16

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #16 is up and it was a great one---Happy Birthday~must have a party hat!!

Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!  I cannot wait to see what you create!

Loved this challenge!  I had the Amusing Animals stamp set from Scrappy Mom's Stamp for quite some time and didn't know when I was going to get to use this particular sentiment.  I have a few friends having birthday's in July and one of them is a dog lover...figured what better way to wish her happy birthday than with a poodle card!  Hope she likes it!

The poodle is cut from Create a Critter at 3". I only used the 2 layers because I wanted to use my Peachy Keen Stamps for the face. Once again, the sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Stamp.

Happy Creating....

Play Ball....

Been in the scrapbooking mood lately and have had these pictures around forever.  Anthony has always been all about sports, even when he was little.  When we first got him this tee, bat and ball set he was in heaven.  He would hit the ball and instead of run, he would give me the thumbs up sign....so cute!

Baseball stuff cut from Boys will be Boys at 3".  Brads are from CTMH.

Thanks for stopping by!

Celebrate the Occasion #14...

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #14 is up and it was a great one---school is OUT!!  Hard to believe it is that time of the year and that my little boy finished Kindergarten!!

Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!  I cannot wait to see what you create!

I had so many projects run through my head for this challenge but the one that stuck was making a group of apples that had the word families on the other side to help my son learn some new words and not forget the ones he already knows throughout the summer.  I am a little bit behind on making them since I wanted to cut out more than just apples to make a few more families but with a new baby coming my way any time it might just have to wait until after this little bundle arrives, but before that he will be GREAT at his 'at' family words!!

Thanks for Celebrating the Occasion with us and have a fantastic summer!!

Little Lydia....

I decided that since this baby isn't wanting to come yet, I would get some scrapbooking done and what better way to satisfy my baby crave than to scrapbook some of my last little darling baby pictures.  Lydia was born in 2009 and I am just barely getting to a lot of her pictures, at least I'm doing them though!!

I love the details of little babies and the tiny little things they are when they come to this world.  These pictures capture those memories perfectly.

All of the stuff used on this layout is from Close to my Heart.  The little flags say "Dreams" and that is so fitting for so many things in my life right now!  I sure hope this baby comes soon...being a week overdue is just not fun at all.

Wishing the SUN was shining....

Apparently I am really wishing the sun would shine a little brighter for a little longer here in Idaho.  We get 1 day of a little sunshine to about 3 days of rain and cold weather.  Hopefully we will get some real sunshine soon!  In the meantime, I will keep scrapbooking those warm pictures!!

The above layout was done using the Paisley cartridge.  I cannot remember where the paper came from though, sorry.

The below layout was done using Gypsy Wanderings.  I am really loving that cartridge and glad it was included when I bought my gypsy.  So many fun things on it.  The cardstock is CTMH.  The ribbon was from my stockpile.  I love how it turned out with doing the 'gathering' affect.
Here is to some Sunshine all around....especially here in Idaho!!

A few cards....

I know I've been missing in action a little lately, I am getting ready to bring baby #4 into our family.  In fact, my due date was yesterday and baby still hasn't arrived so I am getting a little anxious.  Hope baby decides to come soon.  In the meantime, I decided to take time off of preparing and do some creating yesterday.

The above card was made for my son's Kindergarten teacher.  The apple is from Create a Critter and the stamps are from CTMH.  I used my peachy keen stamps for the apple's face.

The card below is for my monthly card club.  The theme was gratitude and I've been wanting to make a long card for a while.  Gypsy Wanderings has some really fun border cuts and I loved this dragonfly one.  The paper and stamps are from CTMH.  The little crystals are just from my stash.  I cut the 'cloud' from Just Because Cards!

I hope you enjoy my cards!  I hope to be back to regular crafting in not too much longer....I miss it when it doesn't come very often!

I put the cricut away again and got out my stamps from Close to my Heart.  I love the simplicity of this card, yet the powerful message it brings.  ME + YOU = LOVE!!!

2 more challenges...

I got a few more projects done while the kids were outside playing in the backyard!  Loving all of these challenges...it seems like that is the only time I get something done.

Challenge #4 is to create a Mother's Day theme.  I already have the cards made for Mother's Day but I needed to do something with these adorable pictures of my kids.  My kids really do bring me so much joy, love and bliss and I feel so lucky to have them!  I truly am blessed with great kids!!
Challenge #7 was to do a scrapbook page!  Love this challenge...need so many more of these kind of challenges.  Used create a critter for all the cuts.  I cannot believe how much this kid has grown up!
I hope I can get a few more done tonight, if not, tomorrow it will be!  Hope you enjoy my kreations!

My Pink Stamper challenges...

What a fun day to be a crafter!  It's National Scrapbook Day and My Pink Stamper is celebrating in a big way!    She is having lots of challenges with LOTS of giveaways if you play along.  I'm jumping around as I can as I'm a hunting widow (name for it when husband is gone hunting :)) today and playing with the kids usually comes before the crafting for the day. I got some done at nap time and will finish up when I put the kids down for the night.

Anyway,  challenge #5 is to create a 3-D item.  I have been wanting to make some of these flowers for my girls hair so decided what better time than now?
Challenge #1 was anything CUPCAKE!  I love cupcakes...this one looks yummy too!!
Challenge #3 is to create something with a breast cancer theme.  This theme is something I do not have a lot of experiences with (thank goodness) but I love this note from gypsy wanderings and just got Scrappy Moms Stamps stamps and loved the Just a Note sentiment.  I liked how it turned out.
There you have it, my first 3 challenges over at My Pink Stamper.  Head on over and have fun with us!!

Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop...

Welcome and thank you for joining us for Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from Jennifer!!
If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Jenny's blog so that you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share.

Jenny's Birthday rules were that we had to make a project with at least 3 colors and 1 piece of bling. Jenny loves bling *but don't we all*??!!!
I made this card with some Imaginisc paper I had.  It gave me my inspiration for the purse.  I cut the purse from the Paisley cartridge and I love when I can use that one!  I enjoy it a lot, but seem to always forget about it. The pink bling and the blue flower is  from my stash with no name put to it.  The stamp is from CTMH.

I really love how it turned out and know it would make my birthday special if I got it :)  I hope you like it too!

And because its so fun to be in a blog hop and I LOVE birthday's, here is some birthday blog candy!
If you want, become a follower, if not just leave a comment telling me your favorite birthday memory!  I will choose the winner on Monday, May 9th (unless I have my baby before then).

Happy crafting!!
Thank you so much for joining us for Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop!

Your next stop is another fabulous crafter named Jennifer.
If you get lost along the way, stop back at Jenny's blog to see who is next.

Celebrate the Occasion #12...

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #12 is up and it was a great one---Graduation!  Hard to believe it is that time of the year!!
Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!
I have actually gotten quite a few announcements for graduation this year and was excited to make this card.  Our local high-school colors are gold and green, so that was my inspiration this time.  I got the square cuddlebug folder awhile ago and haven't been able to use it yet...love it!

I cut the graduation gown from Everday Paper Dolls and the Congrats from the Gypsy Wandering.  The back white accent is from the Gypsy Wandering too.

Hope you enjoy it and enjoy Celebrating the Occasion!!

A blog award...

Thanks to JoAnn from JLopez Designs for this award!  Its fun to get them in blog land!  I wonder if anyone reads/checks my blog so its nice.

1. I have 3 kids and 1 due in a MONTH!!!
2. I love the color green and frogs.
3. I've never dyed my hair...its all natural!
4. I am really excited to buy a pair of RED shoes for a wedding coming up in July.
5. I love camping, four-wheeling and fishing.
6. I love watching my oldest wrestle.  He is only 5 1/2 but he is GOOD :)!!
7. I'm addicted to adding things to my WANT list...hope I can purchase some soon!

For this one you have to first thank the person who gave it to you.  Next you have to tell 7 things about yourself.  Then you pass it along to 15 other bloggers. The problem with that is that just about every blog I looked/look at already has it...so if you haven't gotten it yet and I missed you...sorry!  So many talented people out there!!

Be impressed :)....

Wow, I got a card and a layout done on the same day!  Are you impressed?
You should be :)....I am!!!

The above card is for my Mom for Mother's Day.  I had 3 brothers and my husband who served 2-year LDS mission in Russia so the little doll holds a special place in all our hearts.
I have wanted to do something fun with it since I got the Paisley cartridge so this is the occasion!
I love how it turned out.

I have said it before and I will say it again, but I love when I can do a layout for a challenge.  These pictures were taken so randomly and I just love the way they turned out.  We had to sell our bunnies and I was so sad, we are trying to figure out how we can get some more!!

Hope you enjoyed my take on the challenges!!

The Russian Doll is cut at 4.5" from the Paisley cartridge.
The bunny is cut from Just Because Cards and the flourish is from Gypsy Wanderings cut at 4".

Celebrate The Occasion #10...

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #10 is up and it was a great one---Birthday with a sketch!
Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!
This sketch provided so much inspiration for me, I couldn't decide which way to go.  I actually made 3 cards with different things and decided I liked this one best.  Still not sure, but oh well, here it is!
I used the Accent Essential cartridge for the shape and Christmas cartridge for the Happy.  The button is from CTMH and the rick rac and paper is from my stash.

Fishing...

I love when I can take challenges and use them to create scrapbook layouts.  I need to do that a lot more and do a few less cards...although, I use the cards too...so what do you do??  I loves these pictures of my Dad with Anthony.  He just loves his Grandpa and you can tell Grandpa enjoys having grandboys around!

The fish is from simply charmed, the river is from Plantin' schoolbook and the trees are from stretch your imagination.

Die Cuttin Divas is having a 2 cuts, 2 cartridges challenge
and
Flaunt it Fridays is having a simply charmed fish challenge

Welcome Baby...

I have a few nieces coming my way this summer so I thought I'd get a jump on things and get their card done.  I love how it turned out and it is the first time I've used this baby cut.  It is from Stretch Your Imagination.

Scrappy Moms Stamps is having a New Arrival Challenge.

I cut the baby at 3.5" from the Stretch Your Immagination cartridge.
The pattern paper is some from my stash and the flower in her hair is CTMH.
Enjoy!!

The force is strong...

I had to take a break from paper crafting to do some sewing...

The force is strong at our house lately.  My oldest is really into Star Wars and so I thought I'd make him some Star Wars cloaks.  I had to make sure I made one for his friend that also loves Star Wars when he comes to the house and plays, so we have 2 of each color.  Apparently, it is more fun being the bad guy because they have A LOT more interest in the black ones than the brown ones.

I love my kids!!!

Spring Showers and invites!

Once again, I had another few pictures I had been putting off putting onto a page, but decided I wanted to do them for a few of the challenges out there right now.  I need some extra suggestions on scrapbook page challenges, anyone know good sites?  Most of the ones I follow are for cards.

Die Cuttin Divas was having a sketch challenge and that is where my inspiration came from.
Fantabulous Cricut is having a April showers challenge
Cooking with Cricut is also having a April showers challenge

No better way to celebrate April showers than with jumping in the puddles they make!!
I used Plantin Schoolbook for the words, cut at 1', paisley for the umbrella cut at 3' and India art for the rain drops. The paper is from CTMH.

My Little Lady is turning 2 at the end of this month and this is the invitation to her little party!
I love how they turned out and look just like the birthday plates I found!

Love my cricut, gypsy and Peachy Keen stamps!!

Lady bug is from Create a Critter, cut at 5', took out the contours of the face and stamped my own!

Have a great and happy weekend!!!

Time 4 fun!!!

I was surprised to find my stash super low on boy/men birthday cards...so last night when I had a few extra minutes I decided to make a boy/man card.  I love how it turned out and how quick it went together.  The Just 4 fun is from the Cuttin Up cartridge cut at 3' and the shadow feature which I had never used before. The paper and brads are from Close to my Heart.

Birthday Sundaes is having an anything goes challenge
More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday is a Birthday Theme this week.

And, I got to actually do a layout too.  Seems like I never have time to do my scrapbooking...but I had this page layed out for a long time!
Once again, the paper and embellishments are from CTMH and the Little piggies is welded on my gypsy and from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge.

Hope you like them!!

Celebrate the Occasion #8...

Hi everyone!  I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #8 is up and it was a great one---Anything Birthday but must include a flower!
Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!
These challenges are about being challenged...right?
So I decided to put away the Cricut for this one and see if I could create something with just paper.  I used Adorn It paper and really like how it turned out.  To add to the challenge for me, this is not my color medium...I like bright, cheerful colors, so I challenged myself twice :).  I hope you take the challenge and join us!!
