Hello Kitty...

My darling little Lydia turned 3 last week!  She wanted a Hello Kitty party and I was glad to oblige. I LOVE Hello Kitty and think she is just so cute.  I already had the cartridge so it was easy to just put an invite together.  I cut the kitty at 4x5 inches. The cake was done with a mold and I had so much fun doing it.  I hadn't ever really decorated a cake and it turned out to be easier than I had imagined.  Love having a girly girl who loves Hello Kitty!

Card Club Fun...

Here is the card I made for my monthly card club.  Our "theme" this month was masculine birthday.

The Time 4 Fun is off of the Cuttin UP cartridge cut at 3" with the shadow feature.  I used the circle embossing folder with my cuttlebug and a DCWV paperpack.

You are my sunshine...

We are loving that the sunshine came out...we were beginning to wonder if we would have a summer here in Idaho, or just a spring.

This card was done for my monthly card club...the theme was to use yellow and orange.

The sun is cut from Create a Critter and the sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamp set Amusing Animals.

I hope you are having a sunshinny day!!

Celebrating the Occasion Challenge #16

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #16 is up and it was a great one---Happy Birthday~must have a party hat!!

Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!  I cannot wait to see what you create!

Loved this challenge!  I had the Amusing Animals stamp set from Scrappy Mom's Stamp for quite some time and didn't know when I was going to get to use this particular sentiment.  I have a few friends having birthday's in July and one of them is a dog lover...figured what better way to wish her happy birthday than with a poodle card!  Hope she likes it!

The poodle is cut from Create a Critter at 3". I only used the 2 layers because I wanted to use my Peachy Keen Stamps for the face. Once again, the sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Stamp.

Happy Creating....

A few cards....

I know I've been missing in action a little lately, I am getting ready to bring baby #4 into our family.  In fact, my due date was yesterday and baby still hasn't arrived so I am getting a little anxious.  Hope baby decides to come soon.  In the meantime, I decided to take time off of preparing and do some creating yesterday.

The above card was made for my son's Kindergarten teacher.  The apple is from Create a Critter and the stamps are from CTMH.  I used my peachy keen stamps for the apple's face.

The card below is for my monthly card club.  The theme was gratitude and I've been wanting to make a long card for a while.  Gypsy Wanderings has some really fun border cuts and I loved this dragonfly one.  The paper and stamps are from CTMH.  The little crystals are just from my stash.  I cut the 'cloud' from Just Because Cards!

I hope you enjoy my cards!  I hope to be back to regular crafting in not too much longer....I miss it when it doesn't come very often!

My Pink Stamper challenges...

What a fun day to be a crafter!  It's National Scrapbook Day and My Pink Stamper is celebrating in a big way!    She is having lots of challenges with LOTS of giveaways if you play along.  I'm jumping around as I can as I'm a hunting widow (name for it when husband is gone hunting :)) today and playing with the kids usually comes before the crafting for the day. I got some done at nap time and will finish up when I put the kids down for the night.

Anyway,  challenge #5 is to create a 3-D item.  I have been wanting to make some of these flowers for my girls hair so decided what better time than now?
Challenge #1 was anything CUPCAKE!  I love cupcakes...this one looks yummy too!!
Challenge #3 is to create something with a breast cancer theme.  This theme is something I do not have a lot of experiences with (thank goodness) but I love this note from gypsy wanderings and just got Scrappy Moms Stamps stamps and loved the Just a Note sentiment.  I liked how it turned out.
There you have it, my first 3 challenges over at My Pink Stamper.  Head on over and have fun with us!!

Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop...

Welcome and thank you for joining us for Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from Jennifer!!
If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Jenny's blog so that you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share.

Jenny's Birthday rules were that we had to make a project with at least 3 colors and 1 piece of bling. Jenny loves bling *but don't we all*??!!!
I made this card with some Imaginisc paper I had.  It gave me my inspiration for the purse.  I cut the purse from the Paisley cartridge and I love when I can use that one!  I enjoy it a lot, but seem to always forget about it. The pink bling and the blue flower is  from my stash with no name put to it.  The stamp is from CTMH.

I really love how it turned out and know it would make my birthday special if I got it :)  I hope you like it too!

And because its so fun to be in a blog hop and I LOVE birthday's, here is some birthday blog candy!
If you want, become a follower, if not just leave a comment telling me your favorite birthday memory!  I will choose the winner on Monday, May 9th (unless I have my baby before then).

Happy crafting!!
Thank you so much for joining us for Jenny's Big 3-OH Birthday Blog Hop!

Your next stop is another fabulous crafter named Jennifer.
If you get lost along the way, stop back at Jenny's blog to see who is next.

Celebrate the Occasion #12...

Hi everyone!
I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #12 is up and it was a great one---Graduation!  Hard to believe it is that time of the year!!
Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!
I have actually gotten quite a few announcements for graduation this year and was excited to make this card.  Our local high-school colors are gold and green, so that was my inspiration this time.  I got the square cuddlebug folder awhile ago and haven't been able to use it yet...love it!

I cut the graduation gown from Everday Paper Dolls and the Congrats from the Gypsy Wandering.  The back white accent is from the Gypsy Wandering too.

Hope you enjoy it and enjoy Celebrating the Occasion!!

Be impressed :)....

Wow, I got a card and a layout done on the same day!  Are you impressed?
You should be :)....I am!!!

The above card is for my Mom for Mother's Day.  I had 3 brothers and my husband who served 2-year LDS mission in Russia so the little doll holds a special place in all our hearts.
I have wanted to do something fun with it since I got the Paisley cartridge so this is the occasion!
I love how it turned out.

I have said it before and I will say it again, but I love when I can do a layout for a challenge.  These pictures were taken so randomly and I just love the way they turned out.  We had to sell our bunnies and I was so sad, we are trying to figure out how we can get some more!!

Hope you enjoyed my take on the challenges!!

The Russian Doll is cut at 4.5" from the Paisley cartridge.
The bunny is cut from Just Because Cards and the flourish is from Gypsy Wanderings cut at 4".

Welcome Baby...

I have a few nieces coming my way this summer so I thought I'd get a jump on things and get their card done.  I love how it turned out and it is the first time I've used this baby cut.  It is from Stretch Your Imagination.

Scrappy Moms Stamps is having a New Arrival Challenge.

I cut the baby at 3.5" from the Stretch Your Immagination cartridge.
The pattern paper is some from my stash and the flower in her hair is CTMH.
Enjoy!!

Time 4 fun!!!

I was surprised to find my stash super low on boy/men birthday cards...so last night when I had a few extra minutes I decided to make a boy/man card.  I love how it turned out and how quick it went together.  The Just 4 fun is from the Cuttin Up cartridge cut at 3' and the shadow feature which I had never used before. The paper and brads are from Close to my Heart.

Birthday Sundaes is having an anything goes challenge
More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday is a Birthday Theme this week.

And, I got to actually do a layout too.  Seems like I never have time to do my scrapbooking...but I had this page layed out for a long time!
Once again, the paper and embellishments are from CTMH and the Little piggies is welded on my gypsy and from the Hello Kitty Font cartridge.

Hope you like them!!

Celebrate the Occasion #8...

Hi everyone!  I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD be!  The CTO challenge #8 is up and it was a great one---Anything Birthday but must include a flower!
Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!
These challenges are about being challenged...right?
So I decided to put away the Cricut for this one and see if I could create something with just paper.  I used Adorn It paper and really like how it turned out.  To add to the challenge for me, this is not my color medium...I like bright, cheerful colors, so I challenged myself twice :).  I hope you take the challenge and join us!!

Spring...

A cute little Birthday Card for someone special...

Birthday Sundaes...Spring Birthday

I cut the flower from the Tags, Bags & more cartridge and the saying is a rub-on from Adorn It!
Simple, yet satisfying!!

This Stinks...

(sorry this picture really does stink...I need a new camera!)

I have a family member going through a hard time right now and wanted to make a card to help cheer them up.  I cannot even image the hardship and frustration she is going through.
I hope this brings a little smile to her face!

The Cuttlebug Spot... Felt Challenge
Cooking with Cricut...Funny Pun
More than Favors-Wacky Wednesday...Something Funny

I cut the skunk from Create A Critter at 3.5".  The circle card is from Tags, Bags & More cut at 4.5" and the turquoise circle was from my scraps. I had the cute little felt flower in my stock of things to make hair bows with, but I think it fit the card way too well not to use it.

The Cuttlebug Spot had a challenge to use buttons.  I always forget about that super cute embellishment!
Card Cupid is having a springtime challenge!  What better way to celebrate spring than with a kite?

The kite is cut from the Boys will be Boys cartridge at 3.5".  The stamp is from Close to my Heart.

CTO Challenge #6...

Hi everyone!  I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week and if you aren't you SHOULD!  The CTO challenge #6 is up and it was a great one---Thank you with a tag on the project!
Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!

I used the Gypsy Wanderings Cartridge and Tags, Bags and More and welded them together using my new Gypsy!  I have wanted to try this for quite a while.  I chalked the strawberry with Stampin' Up, added a ribbon from my stash and some random bling that I had on hand.  Inside I wrote "Thank you BERRY much!"

I hope you like my take on the CTO challenge!  Cannot wait to see what you do with it!!

Happy...

Fantabulous Cricut has a birthday challenge going on...
Bugbites has a buggy challenge...
Birthday Sundaes has their first challenge up too...

We have so many birthday's coming up in April that I need to start stocking up.  I love this paper from a paper stack I got a while ago.  I welded the words together from Plantin' Schoolbook and cut it at 1" wide.

Thanks...

Another week and a few more challenges I didn't want to miss!

Cricut Cardz's challenge #66 was use blue, white and yellow with a border and a thank you!  Lots of things to fit into one card!

Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #10 wanted something from Doodlecharm.

I love these little babies from the Doodlecharm cartridge.  I will be having a baby in May and I hope it is a boy (we don't find out) so I'm hoping I can use this for after the baby comes.  If not, I'll just have to give it to my friend who is due at the same time as me with a boy :)!

I used the Doodlecharm cartridge (obviously) and the border feature cut at 1.15 inches.  Swiss dots is the Cuttlebug embossing I used.  The sentiment is a stamp from Close to my Heart.
