Play Ball....

Been in the scrapbooking mood lately and have had these pictures around forever.  Anthony has always been all about sports, even when he was little.  When we first got him this tee, bat and ball set he was in heaven.  He would hit the ball and instead of run, he would give me the thumbs up sign....so cute!

Baseball stuff cut from Boys will be Boys at 3".  Brads are from CTMH.

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Lydia....

I decided that since this baby isn't wanting to come yet, I would get some scrapbooking done and what better way to satisfy my baby crave than to scrapbook some of my last little darling baby pictures.  Lydia was born in 2009 and I am just barely getting to a lot of her pictures, at least I'm doing them though!!

I love the details of little babies and the tiny little things they are when they come to this world.  These pictures capture those memories perfectly.

All of the stuff used on this layout is from Close to my Heart.  The little flags say "Dreams" and that is so fitting for so many things in my life right now!  I sure hope this baby comes soon...being a week overdue is just not fun at all.

2 more challenges...

I got a few more projects done while the kids were outside playing in the backyard!  Loving all of these challenges...it seems like that is the only time I get something done.

Challenge #4 is to create a Mother's Day theme.  I already have the cards made for Mother's Day but I needed to do something with these adorable pictures of my kids.  My kids really do bring me so much joy, love and bliss and I feel so lucky to have them!  I truly am blessed with great kids!!
Challenge #7 was to do a scrapbook page!  Love this challenge...need so many more of these kind of challenges.  Used create a critter for all the cuts.  I cannot believe how much this kid has grown up!
I hope I can get a few more done tonight, if not, tomorrow it will be!  Hope you enjoy my kreations!

Be impressed :)....

Wow, I got a card and a layout done on the same day!  Are you impressed?
You should be :)....I am!!!

The above card is for my Mom for Mother's Day.  I had 3 brothers and my husband who served 2-year LDS mission in Russia so the little doll holds a special place in all our hearts.
I have wanted to do something fun with it since I got the Paisley cartridge so this is the occasion!
I love how it turned out.

I have said it before and I will say it again, but I love when I can do a layout for a challenge.  These pictures were taken so randomly and I just love the way they turned out.  We had to sell our bunnies and I was so sad, we are trying to figure out how we can get some more!!

Hope you enjoyed my take on the challenges!!

The Russian Doll is cut at 4.5" from the Paisley cartridge.
The bunny is cut from Just Because Cards and the flourish is from Gypsy Wanderings cut at 4".

Fishing...

I love when I can take challenges and use them to create scrapbook layouts.  I need to do that a lot more and do a few less cards...although, I use the cards too...so what do you do??  I loves these pictures of my Dad with Anthony.  He just loves his Grandpa and you can tell Grandpa enjoys having grandboys around!

The fish is from simply charmed, the river is from Plantin' schoolbook and the trees are from stretch your imagination.

Die Cuttin Divas is having a 2 cuts, 2 cartridges challenge
and
Flaunt it Fridays is having a simply charmed fish challenge

Let it snow?....

Since Spring is yet to come to our little corner of Idaho, I thought it would be appropriate to do some winter pictures, since it snowed yesterday.  I love how this page turned out.  I do not usually use so few pictures, but this is all I had this time.
This isn't really consistent with my style of scrapbooking, but I thought I'd branch out a bit.

Garden...

The Die Cuttin Divas are thinking spring with a garden challenge!!

I have had these pictures sitting in my pile for a while and couldn't get motivated to do them...but what better way than with a challenge!  I cut the veggies from my Just Because Cards at 3".

Thanks for the challenge Divas!!

Another project and a layout....

I saw this Rainbow Wreath and knew I needed one for my house!
It went together so quick and easy and I LOVE it!!
I did this layout with the Simply Charmed strawberry  cut at 2" and 3" and just loved how it turned out.  Strawberries are one of my very favorite things so I just loved these pictures anyway...and to finally get them onto a scrapbook page really made me happy!  They were from 2008...

Celebrate the Occasion...challenge #4...

Hi everyone!  I hope you are Celebrating the Occasion with us this week!  The CTO challenge #4 is up and its a FUN one...St. Patrick's Day!  Come on over to the CTO blog and play with us!!

I used the Simply Charmed leprechaun and the 4-leaf clover border is from Everyday Paper Dolls.  I chalked the cheeks of the leprechaun and used brads for his accents.  The borders of the leafs are laced with glitter too!  I had the perfect pictures for this little page and thought it turned out super cute!  I hope you like my take on the CTO challenge!

Just a few....

There are so many things to do at my house that it is a very rare occasion that I have enough time to sit down and scrapbook.  I have really tried to make time the last few weeks and these pages are a few from the result of it.  I laugh everytime I see these pictures because they are so cute.  I am so happy that I live in a time where it is possible to print pictures so easily!  I love reliving so many of the fun moments in life!

Still more pages...

Here are a few more of the never ending pile of pictures I have...Its a good thing I enjoy scrapbooking or it may become a little overwhelming :).
The first two are from 52 sketches again..... I love getting the new sketch every week and trying to figure out what to do with it! I have the hardest time when there is only one picture for a page....just seems harder for me.
This third one came from inspriation out of CTMH's Reflection Book. Yet another way to get inspired when I'm tired and don't want to do much of anything!!

Layouts...

Jenna loved her Peek-a-boo playing! This paper matched her outfit perfectly! So much fun!!
This first one is from 52 sketches website. It was so fun to do and remember when Jenna wasn't able to feed herself. I love scrapbooking.

A few more...i'm falling behind :(...

Apparently, I'm nesting a bit and the house is getting cleaner every day. This is good, but not real great for my goal of scrapbooking.

With that and doing a bunch of Relief Society Enrichment stuff, this is all I've got done for the past couple of weeks. Oh well, at least I've gotten some done!!

My quest continues...

I'm still working on that goal of having all my pictures from 2007 done before Baby #3 comes....here are a few to add to the completed pile!

Anthony saw this page and told his dad...."Jenna is wearing my diaper"...He didn't believe it was hip because of the pink on the page ;)!!
I'm really loving CTMH new Emporium paper pack. I cannot believe how many pictures it matches in my stack. I've used that one way more than I ever thought I would!!

I'm on a roll...

I cannot believe how big my kids have gotten so quickly. I remember them sitting in Anthony's couch like it was yesterday. Now Jenna has her own and won't sit in Anthony's lap :).
I love getting inspiration from the challenges I find online. It has helped me with quite a few of my layouts lately that i've been struggling with. Some of my designs just come right out, some others I struggle with. I love this one of Jenna. She seriously could not stay awake! This sketch came from 52 sketches...52 weeks.
And can I just say, I LOVE my cricut!!!

Playing with new paper!!

I got a shipment of some CTMH stuff and haven't been able to stop making pages with it. The new paper packs in the catalog are awesome! I just LOVE Close to my Heart!!

Anyone know why when I view these pictures they are the right way, but when I upload them, they turn back again?
My goal to have 2007 done before Baby #3 comes in April, is looking more obtainable :).

Another inspiration...

I just love the inspiration I get from all the sketch blogs I find. Here is another one from Sketches! by Tamara. When I saw this sketch, I just couldn't not do it. I've had these pictures for a while now and didn't know what to do with so many of them! This sketch worked out great!

Scrapbook of 2006 is finished!

Wow, I can't believe that I have 2006 done. I'm so happy. I've had that goal for a long time now!
This first one was inspired by a new website I found. 52 Sketches...52 weeks. Check it out. It is a great website with a cool forum and awesome prizes!
The other ones are just ones that came from my head. Not as cute, but I still love them!

I'm not sure why those last two won't change direction. Oh well!! It's time for bed!

More pages..i'm on a roll!!

It has been so much fun to get these pictures on paper. I don't do super fancy ones, but I think they are cute and my kids already love looking at them. I don't have time to go ALL out on my pages, but they are in a book and off my endless CDs of pictures. I have no hope in catching up, but at least I can try to stay on top of it :).

The first set of pages is from Anthony's first hair cut. I can't believe how much hair he had. I'm glad I kept it all of these years. I can't figure out what the best way to take pictures of my pages is, so bear with me until I find the right way to take them.

This one is probably my favorite of the bunch. I got the inspiration from ... Sketches! by Tamara. She has lots of great things on her blog!
