I cannot figure out why this picture is sideways. It isn't like that when I select it from my computer. Oh well, you can still see the cute cards! I had a lot of fun using scraps and coming up with fun, easy cards to send out this summer for birthdays. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
What is your favorite way to use scraps? Leave me a comment with a link to your cards that you've done with scraps! I want MORE ideas because I have A LOT of scraps!!</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01697259185272136201noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1590195800158224319.post-53691877988679287102012-05-15T09:00:00.000-06:002012-05-15T09:00:08.114-06:00Boy Birthday...<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I was running low on my birthday cards, so took some time out from my busy schedule to sit down and create some. I just used scraps and cuts, ribbon and stamps I had on hand from other projects and I think they turned out really cute! </div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01697259185272136201noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1590195800158224319.post-43041073029679193782012-05-11T10:44:00.000-06:002012-05-11T10:44:00.044-06:00Birthday Quilt...<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

My Little Lydia turned 3 last month and she wanted a blanket for her bed. The other kids had rag blankets from an early sewing marathon, so I thought I'd make Lydia one too. She helped me pick out the colors and she is SO in love with it. I love making my kids so happy in such an easy way :)!!</div>

I have been wanting to make these wedding vinyl boards for a long time. My sister-in-law got married in July and I wanted to make her a board of their favorite saying with some of her wedding things. That is the top one. The other one is from my wedding. I sang the Shania Twain song to my husband and have always loved the saying. We hung this in our room right above our bed. I love it so far. I think I want to add some of our wedding colors to the board, but haven't figured out exactly what I want to do yet. Any suggestions?</div>

My darling little Lydia turned 3 last week! She wanted a Hello Kitty party and I was glad to oblige. I LOVE Hello Kitty and think she is just so cute. I already had the cartridge so it was easy to just put an invite together. I cut the kitty at 4x5 inches. The cake was done with a mold and I had so much fun doing it. I hadn't ever really decorated a cake and it turned out to be easier than I had imagined. Love having a girly girl who loves Hello Kitty!</div>

I had foot surgery on my left foot 3 weeks ago and have had people take my kids, bring in meals and send me loving messages! A few of the days I was laid up I decided to get my scrap box out and make a few thank you cards, it was fun to see what I could do with a scrap of paper, a few embellishments, stamps and ink. Most of my things stayed downstairs, just a few select made it up to my "bed", but it sure was fun to see what I could do with them! I think they turned out cute...now to write in them :)!!</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01697259185272136201noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1590195800158224319.post-4202985471902752682011-07-22T15:14:00.000-06:002011-07-22T15:14:00.126-06:00Announcing...<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BpaEuTA-6sk/TidFlMhPqcI/AAAAAAAAC0w/hHVSqUGT8xo/s1600/Picture+033.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a></div><br />

I cannot believe how fast the time has gone since I had my baby. I am just now finishing up his birth announcements, but better late than never I suppose! I LOVE how they turned out. It means summer is finally here (at least where I live), we celebrate our awesome country, you get to see fireworks, and eat yummy food! My house seems to be pretty empty once all the Easter decorations come down so I figured it needed some fun 4th of July decorations!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> This is just a 2x6 board cut to 12". The striped paper is CTMH and the freedom words are cut from Opposites Attract cartridge and the stamped words are from CTMH stamp sets. The firecracker was bought from the dollar store quite awhile ago.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

The CTO challenge #16 is up and it was a great one---Happy Birthday~must have a party hat!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Come on over to the <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">CTO blog</a> and play with us!! I cannot wait to see what you create!</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3deHSf0C4Es/TfaGjCnMy1I/AAAAAAAACxA/Hxh4fiQijgo/s1600/IMG_1842.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3deHSf0C4Es/TfaGjCnMy1I/AAAAAAAACxA/Hxh4fiQijgo/s320/IMG_1842.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Loved this challenge! I had the Amusing Animals stamp set from <a href="http://scrappymoms-stamps.blogspot.com/">Scrappy Mom's Stamp</a> for quite some time and didn't know when I was going to get to use this particular sentiment. I have a few friends having birthday's in July and one of them is a dog lover...figured what better way to wish her happy birthday than with a poodle card! Hope she likes it!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The poodle is cut from Create a Critter at 3". I only used the 2 layers because I wanted to use my <a href="https://www.peachykeenstamps.com/index.php?p=home">Peachy Keen Stamps</a> for the face. Once again, the sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Stamp.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

The CTO challenge #14 is up and it was a great one---school is OUT!! Hard to believe it is that time of the year and that my little boy finished Kindergarten!! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Come on over to the <a href="http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/">CTO blog</a> and play with us!! I am a little bit behind on making them since I wanted to cut out more than just apples to make a few more families but with a new baby coming my way any time it might just have to wait until after this little bundle arrives, but before that he will be GREAT at his 'at' family words!!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Thanks for Celebrating the Occasion with us and have a fantastic summer!!</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01697259185272136201noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1590195800158224319.post-81794263224319088722011-05-30T09:39:00.000-06:002011-05-30T09:39:16.858-06:00Little Lydia....<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D1KK3DNbjuQ/TeO5YPVx_FI/AAAAAAAACwE/hlFiii9RCf8/s1600/IMG_1748.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-D1KK3DNbjuQ/TeO5YPVx_FI/AAAAAAAACwE/hlFiii9RCf8/s320/IMG_1748.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I decided that since this baby isn't wanting to come yet, I would get some scrapbooking done and what better way to satisfy my baby crave than to scrapbook some of my last little darling baby pictures. Lydia was born in 2009 and I am just barely getting to a lot of her pictures, at least I'm doing them though!!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I love the details of little babies and the tiny little things they are when they come to this world. These pictures capture those memories perfectly. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">All of the stuff used on this layout is from Close to my Heart. The little flags say "Dreams" and that is so fitting for so many things in my life right now! I sure hope this baby comes soon...being a week overdue is just not fun at all.</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01697259185272136201noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1590195800158224319.post-23946482153750057492011-05-26T08:00:00.000-06:002011-05-26T08:00:04.223-06:00Wishing the SUN was shining....<div style="text-align: center;"> Apparently I am really wishing the sun would shine a little brighter for a little longer here in Idaho. We get 1 day of a little sunshine to about 3 days of rain and cold weather. Hopefully we will get some real sunshine soon! In the meantime, I will keep scrapbooking those warm pictures!!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1t-_SmIazc0/TdvwkG73BRI/AAAAAAAACvM/VtqSsiWXYfs/s1600/IMG_1739.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1t-_SmIazc0/TdvwkG73BRI/AAAAAAAACvM/VtqSsiWXYfs/s320/IMG_1739.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"> The above layout was done using the Paisley cartridge. I cannot remember where the paper came from though, sorry.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The below layout was done using Gypsy Wanderings. I am really loving that cartridge and glad it was included when I bought my gypsy. So many fun things on it. The cardstock is CTMH. The ribbon was from my stockpile. I love how it turned out with doing the 'gathering' affect. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1wIf1apY8ME/TdvwtfUGeMI/AAAAAAAACvQ/AZoRFsdUZu0/s1600/IMG_1738.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-1wIf1apY8ME/TdvwtfUGeMI/AAAAAAAACvQ/AZoRFsdUZu0/s320/IMG_1738.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here is to some Sunshine all around....especially here in Idaho!!</div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01697259185272136201noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1590195800158224319.post-78943905743304060332011-05-24T11:51:00.000-06:002011-05-24T11:51:40.194-06:00A few cards....<div style="text-align: center;"> I know I've been missing in action a little lately, I am getting ready to bring baby #4 into our family. In fact, my due date was yesterday and baby still hasn't arrived so I am getting a little anxious. Hope baby decides to come soon. In the meantime, I decided to take time off of preparing and do some creating yesterday. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GRLjlM0e-RI/Tdvuz6W7JjI/AAAAAAAACvE/-JXHE7sxmtk/s1600/IMG_1735.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GRLjlM0e-RI/Tdvuz6W7JjI/AAAAAAAACvE/-JXHE7sxmtk/s320/IMG_1735.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The above card was made for my son's Kindergarten teacher. The apple is from Create a Critter and the stamps are from CTMH. I used my peachy keen stamps for the apple's face.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">The card below is for my monthly card club. The theme was gratitude and I've been wanting to make a long card for a while. Gypsy Wanderings has some really fun border cuts and I loved this dragonfly one. The paper and stamps are from CTMH. The little crystals are just from my stash. I cut the 'cloud' from Just Because Cards!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
